Saturday Morning Training (Ages 5 – 9)
Whitehead Eagles offers football training to all children, boys and girls, from all the local and surrounding communities, starting from the age of 5 up until the time they are ready to enter into team competition.
All of our coaching staff have been through the Access NI check and are qualified at Grassroots or level 1. The coaches will teach the children the basics of football, whilst also encouraging active participation in a team sport and general fitness. Girls (5-9)
All girls between the ages 5 to 9 are welcome to attend the sessions at Castleview Road playing fields every Saturday until May. Coaches are Access NI checked and are qualified either at Grassroots or Level 1.
Details
Training sessions run every Saturday morning from 9.30 am to 10.40 am at Castleview Road playing fields, Whitehead. Training resumed 21st August 2010 at the usual times, and there are two seasons:
September (Start of school year) until December (Christmas)
Returning back in:
January until mid to end of May
Cost per season per child:
Sept – Dec £25
Jan – May £25
Or £50 per full season
- A registration form to be completed by the parent / guardian which will be available from a member of the coaching staff.
- Your child to be appropriately dressed for the season.
- Proper football boots and shin guards.
